Facility Units give you an added layer of managing users by allowing you to identify a specific unit within a hospital or department, and assign users to that Unit. This allows for more specific reporting because you can target exact Units based on your designations.
Facility Units are unique to each facility within your Healthcare system, this allows you to ensure that your Facility Units are created for the correct location and users.
To add a new facility, click the Add New button, on the next screen select your desired Facility then enter your Facility Unit name. Facility Units are optional. Each user profile will have a section for you select the Facility Unit, but there is no requirement to select one unless you want that user assigned to that Unit.
